Goose signs to Fluid World & King Rollo Films

It’s been an exciting year for me here in Devon. It all started off in January when Fluid World Ltd signed Goose as their next pre-school property to develop into a merchandised brand. Fluid World are such a vibrant company who manage brands, and it means you may see Goose as clothing and toys (amongst other things!) in major retailers over the next few years. You may be familiar with Mr Men and Hello Kitty who are the other brands Fluid World managed in the UK. The team from Fluid World came down from London to see me at the gallery and we talked through our vision for Goose, there are a lot of fun things in the pipeline; their enthusiasm for Goose makes me very happy to have them on board!

However also going on along side this, Goose the animation is being developed! King Rollo Films, based in the Southwest, love Goose and they have created an animated trailer which is currently with broadcasters and being considered for commission. The aim is for an animated series to be on television. Dawn French agreed to be the voice of Goose and she features on the trailer. I absolutely loved meeting her and telling her all about Goose and his personality! I think she really understood the humour and character of Goose, which comes across so beautifully in the trailer. Seeing Goose come to life has been pure magic…

I am hopeful over the next few years you will be able to watch Goose on television, in your Goose pyjamas, with your Goose duvet… watch this space! Honk!
